Illinois Meat Goat Producers will be sponsoring a sale at the end of the 2011 Western Illinois University Buck Test on Oct. 22 at the WIU farm in Macomb, Ill. This sale will feature bucks that were consigned to the buck test. Also selling will be does from consignors that entered their bucks in the sale. This year bucks were consigned to the test from Mississippi, Kansas and Illinois with genetics coming from Spanish, Kiko, Oberhasli and Boer breeds.
There will be a post-test seminar beginning at 10 AM with inspection time following that until the sale begins at 1 PM.
